Need to dispute items on credit report, but do not know how to word it or go about doing it?
To be successful, I'd like to not leave anything out when I communicate with them? Anyone know of any forms I can use to dispute debts with creditors? Or forms to settle the debt for less?

- Call your credit card company----they will take care of everything. I disputed an item on my MasterCard a few years ago. I called the 1-800 # on the back of my card and told them the whole story. That was it. They dealt with the "offender" very harshly. Took the charge off of the card immediately. Good luck.
- Go to www.myfreecreditreport.com From there you can access all 3 reports. The reports that have the derogitory account on them also have a box where you can dispute it.The creditor who put the derog. info on the account has 30 days to counter your claim or they have to remove it.
