Whats the minimum credit score one should have to finance a car? no rudeness

- I think financing a car is a great way to *build* good credit, so as long as the lender will give you a loan, I wouldn't worry about what your actual score is. I don't think there's a good answer to your question. When I bought my first car, I essentially had zero credit, so I had my dad co-sign the loan.
- Auto finance is what I do for a living and I can get people with a 0 score approved if they meet the guidelines of the lenders. Now, if you are talking about being approved at a good rate or with no money down, that takes a score of around 625 or higher.
