how to raise my Credit Score?
I have paid off the debt that I had on my report but have like 3 or 4 charge offs on my report. Is there anyway to get rid of these charge offs or do I have to wait 7 years for them to go away? My current score in the low 500s and I desperatly need to raise it back up as I plan on buying a house in 3 years, any ideas?

- No you do not have to wait 7 years, you have to wait 10 years. No house for you sorry. Should of thought about that before you went out and stiffed a bunch of companies
- Snorf, is wrong. 10years is for BK and judgments, it's 7 years for everything else. You can write letters to the bureaus yourself and dispute them. They have 30 days to validate the debt or they will rempve them. Even if it's yours it's sometime worth it, they often delete accounts that are really yours. If that doesn't work, then you can try one of those companies, they often are able to get a few things removed.
