What credit score should my co-signer have to be approved for a car loan?
I applied for an auto loan with a local dealership, my credit score is 630, I was approved to get a $15k car but the one I want is $21k. The dealership said that I will need a co-signer to get the car. My husband's credit score is 720, will we have a good chance of getting the car I want if he co-signs?

- Yes 720 should be sufficient, as long as your hubby doesnt have a high debt to income ratio.....
- You will not have a problem.
- A co-signer with a 720 score will be no problem. In fact, by having the loan in your name with your husband as a co-signer is a great way to build up your own score.
