I had a bankruptcy over 7 years ago, which was filed approximately 2002 and was discharged approximately 3 years later. Will this affect my credit score, how do I get the bankrupcy off of these reports?

- You can get free credit REPORT from AnnualCreditReport.com To get your FICO score, you may have to pay. An option is to keep an eye out for a free 30 day trial and use that to get your score.
- Bankruptcy has to age its way off. www.annualcreditreport.com allows you one free report per bureau per year.
- The bk will fall off your report after 10 years, there's no way to remove them. you can get a copy of your free credit report at annualcreditreport.com. This is only the report though and for the score you will still have to pay.
- https://www.annualcreditreport.com/cra/index.jsp This is the Web site for your annual free credit report. It is just a few dollars to get FICO score but the credit report is free. If you want to print it be sure to have new ink and plenty of paper in printer
- It sounds like a scam site, but it www.freecreditreport.com works. Keep in mind you only have the right to receive a free report yearly, and they go thru a lot of hoops to get you to purchase a FICO score as well. The method I use is to request a free report from one of the 3 reporting agencies every 4 months. It's fairly periodic, and it's still free.
