credit score check at equifax? trustworthy?

i did a quick credit score check a few days ago at equifax..very good detail but no excat credit score. should i check again because i had a deliquency and it ddint show up on the report which was weird..also a yr ago i did a creddit check at freecreditreport.com( i canceled as soon as i got my score) and mysteriously got charged by aol $16 a month somehow considering i had no account with them ever. just want to make sure i dotn screwed over again. thanks

  2. Equifax is the only one that was identical to myFico.com when I bought my home 2 years ago. Experian and TransUnion are not true FICO scores, so be careful.
  3. Equifax is one of the three main credit bureaus so it's definitely trustworthy. Though they like any other corporation will try to lock you into trial programs and make money off you, so be careful with contracts. Did you mean to say no exact credit score? There should be three scores if you use the online credit reporting trials. If you ordered a free credit report it may not have a credit score, just the information. Might as well just use freecreditreport.com again, but make sure you cancel again before the trial ends. Most of the "free" credit report programs offered are backed by the 3 bureaus, such as Equifax, Experian, or Trans Union.
