
who can i contact to dispute a credit card chargewhen the cc company wont help with dispute?
we had a problem with a moving company not disclosing info so we canceled at the last minute and immediately called the creditcard co. and told them to put a block on our card so they could not charge us, they still accepted the charge, gave us a credit and then charged us back after we had closed this acct.

- The credit card charge was most likely made because you signed an agreement to pay a penalty for a last minute cancellation. If the representative you talked to would not allow you to dispute the claim, then go above that person. Keep going up the ladder until they are sick of dealing with you.
- Put your dispute in writing. Send a letter to the moving company as well indicating your reason for cancellation and requesting a refund. Did they charge a flat cancellation fee or the entire amount?
