How many points can paying a credit card on time every month raise your credit score?
I know already not to charge the card to the limit and all of that, but I am trying to raise my credit score and just wondering how long it will take and if you know of any better ways, let me know! I just got my husband and I one card each and I am going to use it and then pay it off every month.

- the f'ing credit bureaus have some idiotic arbitrary system. The best I can surmise is, use just one card, pay it off 3-4 times a year so a paying history can be established. Also have savings somewhere. IF you realize that while most businesses work off logical practices and open door policies, the bureaus thrive on lying, cheating and bribing senators. and ignoring the federal law that says they must correct errors. Till we can shut them down, just pay every acct on time, keep over all debts low and your score will climb within 6 mo to 825. I went from 650 to 825 in 1 yr and back to 675 and back to 800 in one year with no explanation on their part 'we do not report on how we work' is what they told my attorney--which is why I am preparing a class action suit against them; they are power hungry!
- keep on using maximum but never go beyond the limit, pay full before due date, hope after six months or a year u will start getting offers from diff agency =u socre is raised and good now
- You will need at least a 24 month consistent, on time payment history to see improvement in your score. You don't get so many points per month for paying on time.
- My suggestion is trying to obsord as much information as you can before making up your mind, here is a good one.http://credit-score.onlinebestoffer.info/guaranteed-unsecured-bad-credit-credit-cards.html
