4. Dispute everything on your credit report. A lot of times companies don't keep the required verification and they will just drop off. Also call your creditors. My fiance just worked with a collection company that let him pay a fraction of what he owes and they are completely taking it off his credit report. Just make sure you get verification in writing that they will delete it. Also, if you know someone who has a great credit history with a credit card ask them to put you on as the second cardholder. You'll never actually get a card so you can't mess it up but it will start reporting that you've had that line of credit. My fiance did this and his credit score went up 100 points literally overnight because he was on a credit card that had been open a year with all on time payments and a $4500 limit. There are also companies you can pay to do the disputing for you and they use attorneys so it is all done legally and quickly.
5. You can't do it real fast or that in itself will be suspect. Take several months. Pay your loans/credit cards down. Add $$ to your savings accounts.
