- You can't improve your credit fast...if you mean like in a few days or weeks. The best thing to do is do everything possible to pay back your creditors, and pay all your bills on time. This kind of thing takes time, but it's worth it. If you are really in a jam financially, go to your local non-profit Credit Counsleing Bureau and have them help you set up agreements and payment terms with any creditor you owe money. As crappy and pushy as credit companies can be, we make our own decisions to buy things we don't have the money for. I've been there and done that. It takes 7 years for bad credit to come off your credit history. Good luck you can do it!
- The problem with consumer credit counselors is that this just worsens your credit file. Now days because the lenders and collection agencies are not playing fair, so you really have to be knowledgeable to combat this.Try out a respectable credit restoration company.Ask if they are licensed and you should be fine.A good company will not charge you upfront except maybe a small set-up/analysis fee. Try not to pay over $500 for the total service. The process usually can be resolved in a 30 to 90 day time frame. Good luck and click the link below for more answers........

- lol. poor.
- Get a free copy of your report at http://www.annualcreditreport.com Check for anything that you can dispute. Yahoo has some great Newsgroups about fixing inaccurate credit with sample letter files. All it takes is writing some letters to the bureaus and patience. You really only have to pay the cost of postage to fix your credit. Here are some tips that the credit bureaus haven't caught onto yet: Look for an old account you haven't used in a long time but had good payments on. Use that account again and you'll be credited with good payments between now and the last time you used it. You could add yourself as authorized user on someone's "good" account. This means that you'll be allowed to use your friend's account, but DON'T! "Good" means its relatively old, its been paid on time, and its balance is less than half of its credit limit. You'll be credited for your friend's on time payments from the date this account was opened. These are the two ways you can get jumps in your score. It may take a couple of months to kick in but your score will jump.
- There is not a fast way out of bad credit. I have had bad credit over 7 years and if it goes into collections that can start the clocks of bad credit on your report to start all over again. Try a secured credit card and pay it off each month...keep all current bills paid up.
