Credit Score Building - No Score on Transunion?

Hi, I have a Score of 730 on Experian and 743 on Equifax But nothing on TransUnion. Few Questions : How do I go about getting rating on Transunion. ? How can I go about improving my score. ? On my Credit Summary, I have 0 under all these items for the 3 bureau Experian / Equifax / Transunion: REAL ESTATE ACCOUNTS: INSTALLMENT ACCOUNTS: OTHER ACCOUNTS: COLLECTION ACCOUNTS: ACCOUNTS SUMMARY: Open Accounts: 1 1 0 Closed Accounts: 0 0 0 Public Records: 0 0 0 Inquiries: 5 1 1 On My Account History : Account Name: WELLS FARGO BANK Account Number: XXXXXXX Acct Type: Credit Card - Revolving Terms Acct Status: Open Monthly Payment: Date Open: 1/1/2007 Balance: $0.00 Terms: Revolving High Balance: Limit: $4,000.00 Past Due: Payment Status: Current Comments: CREDIT CARD Not much history. What should be my next step to build up fast. Thank you. I use to be in he 600's A friend ofmine recently added me on his account. He has a 700-750 credit. That would explain the jump. But wouldn't this info show up on my account history ? also can i ask wells fargo to report my new account to Transunion themselves ? Could my Fico score be affected by having transunion updating my records ? I already have 5 inquiries. should i try to get a couple more CC + a target or macy's card. and keep building using them . ? which card do you advise for my case. ? how much points could i loose for having 3 more queries in my situation. ? I live in a roomate situation for which my name is not on the bills. Should i add my name on one or more bills and pays them online ? Any utilities better to be on ? Gas, Cable etc.. Thank you very much for your complement answers.

  1. Try prosper.com, get a loan and then pay it off quickly.
  2. How do I go about getting rating on Transunion. ? - Different reporting agencies work with different creditors. You may not have in relations with creditors that use Transunion. Since you show only one card, that is the most likely reason. How can I go about improving my score. ? - As far as improving your score. Couple things, most importantly pay your bills on time!. If you have to, pay the minimum, but pay on-time. I generally prefer to pay online a couple days prior to the due date (and especially before weekends) to avoid "processing delys". Additionally you don't want to use all your available credit. Keep at least 50% free, so with your current card, don't exceed $2000 in debt. Finally ,don't keep opening cards, this causes your score to drop (for each inquiry to your credit report). Additionally ,requesting additional credit can be seen as a red flag, which may cause a denial, and that will impact your credit score. Paying utilities, car loans and mortages (not sure if this applies to you), build up a solid history. Finally, scores of 730 & 743 are good, and will allow you to get a good rate on loans.
  3. All you have to do is open a credit account that reports to all three credit bureaus, You can ask the creditor and they Will tell you rather or not they report to all three, most of them do. If you do this, you will get your Transunion score and continue to establish your credit with the other bureaus.
  4. Contact TransUnion through their customer service number 1-800-916-8800. I would skip writing them and try to get an actual service rep. Having no record with Transunion with scores of 730 and 743 is very odd. Your credit is very good. Around 80% of the nation has credit scores lower than your score. If you are trying to reach a perfect score, don’t. Having a perfect score is nearly impossible. It would be better to maintain your good score as you had asked. Your first step in raising your score is carrying a balance. The Wells Fargo Bank Credit Card is not much of a history as it is more of a statement that you have a zero balance. I recommend keeping a balance of no more than 20-25% of your credit limit. Most will say 30%, but at 20-25% you have the extra 5-10% as a cushion for purchases and finance charges. Credit does not build quickly. Most think they will build up a 700 score with a car loan and a few credit cards. You have to consider how much history you established and your financial behavior with those accounts. Patience and good financial behavior is the key.
  5. First, send a letter to transunion that they are missing an account and give them the info so they can verify it. Second, you need to get a couple credit cards or another card and an installment (like a car or mortgage) There's no way you have a true 700+ score with ONE account that's been open for a month. Something's up but dont be suprirsed if your score drops way down into the 600's very soon. OH, and if you DID just open the account on 1/1/07, Transunion will probably get the account on their own very soon- it takes 30-60 days sometimes for an account to get reported.
