- The credit report is free - see link below. It will not show your score. Just what is being reported about you. You have to pay them for the score but do it directly with the credit reporting agencies, i.e., I think Experian charges $7.95.
- Go to www.annualcreditreport.com. You're now entitled to receive one free credit report from all 3 agencies annually. However, you will probably have to pay to receive the score. (I've always had to pay...usually under $10). There are sites that offer you the free score, but you'll probably have to enroll in the credit monitoring services, which are pretty expensive. Good luck!
- www.freecreditreport.com is really free...you do have to enter your credit card info, but this is what i did: i put in my credit card info and wrote in my planner about 14 days later to call and cancel the service but by that time I had already printed out my credit report with the score and was able to act on that without having to pay for anything after that...make sure you call and cancel, it's worth getting your report for free...once a year you can do this at freecreditreport.com...GOOD LUCK!
- Once a year, you can get one free credit report from each of the three major credit reporting agencies: Equifax, Experian, and TransUnion. For more information about this go to www.annualcreditreport.com.
