- You can't get the scores for free. You'd have to pay to get that. However, you are entitled to a free report from each of the three Credit Bureaus in the US every year. However, there are services that you can sign up where they will monitor your credit score for you. They will throw in a "free" score or two if you sign up for a monthly fee. Some have free trials. I recommend: 1) Go to https://www.annualcreditreport.com/cra/index.jsp and you can get a free credit report from one of the three bureaus... or all three. Try to stagger them out if you want to monitor for fraud/identity theft throughout the year. 2) If you are just curious, then you can go to Bankrate.com's FICO estimator at: http://bankrate.com/brm/fico/calc.asp?lpid=BKRATE29 You get a free estimate, not the real score. 3) Other subscription service that will give you free reports and scores for a monthly fee include: www.truecredit.com, www.myfico.com, www.freecreditreport.com, www.creditexpert.com..... and many others. Just Be!
