Credit Score?
If my wife has a credit card, but my name is NOT on the account, will it affect my credit score?
Public Comments
- This depends. If you requested to have a seperate credit file from your wife versus a joint filing, then it will not impact your credit score. It will, however, affect you if you attempt to get a line of credit (mortgage, car loan, credit card, etc) and your wife co-signs.
