3. You can get your credit REPORT for free at annualcreditreport.com but if you want your credit score, you'll have to pay something for it.

5. There are a lot of sites out there that say they will give you a free credit report. Most of these, including the three major credit bureaus will require you to leave personal information and/or pay something. The only site that is truly 100% free and has absolutely no adverse impact on your credit score is the federal trade commissions site( http://www.ftc.gov/bcp/conline/pubs/credit/freereports.shtm). Follow the links on this page to make sure you don't end up on an impostor site. You are allowed to check your credit once a year. I personally do it every year at Thanksgiving.
6. You can't get your credit score without paying for it someway. The free annual credit report is only your report and not your score
